The system saw a 25% increase in sales over 2007’s Black Friday. The ‘Soft also continues to boast having the highest game attach rate with “8.1 games per console.” “We entered into the Black Friday sales period with cautious optimism, knowing that dollar for dollar, Xbox 360 offers more social entertainment value than any other console on the market,” boasts Don Mattrick, senior vice president of the Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft....

1.2 million 360s to 425,000 Wii Us Microsoft is currentlypreening its feathersover another US victory, boasting an NPD victory over both the PS3 and newly released Wii U this November. Although figures overall are down, Microsoft’s Xbox division is still doing healthily. 1.2 million Xbox 360s were sold in November, down25.9% from last year. The Wii U, by contrast, sold 425,000. Sony, as always, refuses to release its own sales figures, but we can assume it’s less than 1....
