V has come to…the top sales bracket The Game Awards may be coming up soon, but another awards show made minor waves just a few hours ago:Sony’s PlayStation Awards, the yearly event hosted by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia to give a pat on the back (and a cute trophy) to the highest-selling PlayStation titles released in the last 12 months. So yeah, it’s not a big deal (not any more than high sales are a big deal), but hey, recognition is recognition....

Is it Poise? I still dabble inDark Souls IIIthese days, even if I’ve exhausted basically everything in terms of major content, but it’s not the same. I pine for the days where I’m playing it constantly, and later this year it looks like I’ll get that chance. 50,000 units sold on Microsoft format This month saw the release of the BAFTA award-winningHellblade: Senua’s Sacrificeon Xbox One. After shifting over 50,000 units in first few weeks, developers Ninja Theory are to donate thousands of dollars to the Mental Health America organisation. The sombre adventure title, which launched last year on PS4 and PC, stars a young warrior woman who embarks on a nightmarish journey to save the soul of her lover, battle otherworldly monstrosities and the crippling anguish within her own mind, a psychosis which she believes to be a curse....
