One of those new games,Pirate’s Curse, is set to his the 3DS at some point, and according to their Kickstarter, it’s “nearing the finish line.” We’ve been waiting a while for this one, so that’s good news. Star Wars Battlefront’s Walker Assault mode was ‘too tough’

I sure died a lot EA will address “balancing” issues with that Walker Assault mission inStar Wars Battlefront. Responding to a fan who asked if they “sucked,” community manager Matthew Everett confirmed unsuccessful Rebel attacks were more likely to be as a result of a “balancing issue within the beta,” rather than players just being… well, a bit shit. — Sledgehammer70 (@sledgehammer70)May 14, 2025 Not everyone agrees. Some feel a rebel failure is more in keeping with the canon of the story, but lead multiplayer designer Dennis Brännvallalso stated that he thought the mode was “too tough,”and that DICE will “make changes based on the feedback and data....

TGS: May J. music video packed with Tokitowa game footage

Upcoming PS3 titleToki to Towa(the cool kids call itTokitowa) is sofantastic lookingthat I’m desperate to see more of it. Unfortunately, the hand-drawn RPG had next to no presence here at Tokyo Game Show 2012 outside some promotions for the soon-to-be-released musical single from the game by Japanese artist May J. The song, titled “Rewind,” may not be up your alley if you’re not into J-pop, but it’s still worth watching for the tons of game footage it contains....

The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav looks delicious

I’ll be honest, Daedalic Entertainment’s upcoming adventure gameThe Dark Eye: Chains of Satinavonly caught my eye because of the beautiful handdrawn graphics in the screenshots, and the above teaser video. While the video doesn’t actually tell us much in terms of story or gameplay, it does show that it won’t just be flat 2D graphics you’ll be moving a cursor over. No matter how fancy the HD artwork is in any adventure game, it’s always nice if things move around a little to add life to the environment....
