If you’re just diving intoThe SimscompetitorInZoiand expecting to cheat your way through the intricacies of a Zoi’s life, I have bad news: There are currently no shortcuts to success in the new life sim. But there are a couple of things that can help you along the way.
How to use the money cheat in InZoi
The “money cheat” isn’t actually much of a cheat at all, but rather a simple button that’s accessed through Psycat’s Guide. You can reach this through the Live Mode by clicking on the book with a question mark on it located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
As soon as you open up Psycat’s Guide, you’ll see the “Use Money Cheat” button in front of you. Pressing this button will reward your active household with 100,000 Meow (InZoi’s impossibly cute name for currency), and therefore a leg up, especially if you’re trying to build and furnish your own house.
Does InZoi have a ‘move objects’ cheat?
For anyone who has playedThe Sims, holding down Alt while placing furniture to enable free movement will not be an alien concept. But holding down Alt inInZoialso allows you to overlap furniture while building, much like the “bb.moveobjects” cheat inThe Sims.
Suppose you attempt to overlap furniture without holding down Alt. In that case, you’ll be warned you “Cannot place items to overlap.” But holding down Alt will disable this warning and allow you to place almost anything you like, as close to anything else as you want.
Be warned, though, this method does not work with stairs and doors. As much you may want to, though, you cannot place a door close to stairs. This isn’t a big deal, but it’s definitely something to bear in mind while planning builds.
Will InZoi get more cheats?
During theInZoionline showcase in March 2025, it was revealed more cheats are scheduled for addition in the first major update of early access, which is due in May. There are no details as to what these cheats will be, however, so it’s a waiting game at this point. We will update this article as more cheats are added.
