Free WoW
Rumors that folks would get free stuff for seeing the newWarcraftmovie have been flying around for a while, and this week Blizzard sent word to Destructoid that indeed, that would be the case.
If you redeem a ticket receipt from Edwards, United Artists, or Regal theaters, you’ll net a free copy ofWorld of Warcraft, which will include up to the newest expansionWarlords of Draenor, and 30 days of game time (for new players only). Merely logging into the game from May 25 until August 1 will net you transmog-capable items for both the Horde and Alliance.
I’m surprised there isn’t some amazing limited-edition pet linked to seeing the film, as nearly every hardcoreWoWfan would feel compelled to go to get it (hell, I’d do it!). As of now though I’m still on the fence.
