TheTriple-I Initiative for 2024started out strong with a brief teaser forSlay the Spire 2. Like its predecessor,Slay the Spire 2will be released in Early Access on Steam first in 2025 and evolve based on player feedback before its full release.
According to theSteam Page,Slay the Spire 2adds new slayers with their own sets of cards, mechanics, and personalities. Slayers will encounter all-new enemies, events, and treasures as they explore the Spire.
It also looks likeSlay the Spire 2has been built from the ground up in a new game engine, which should allow developer Mega Crit to perhaps include some new features. Speaking of which, the Steam Page teases that there will be new ways to play, but nothing confirmed just yet.
Mega Crit alsotweeted outthat more info on the roguelike card battler would be available later this year ahead of its Early Access release in 2025.
