According toGamasutra, Sony confirmed that while Ueda is no longer an employee, he is still set on finishingThe Last Guardianas a contract worker, and is “committed to completing” the project.
No reasons were given for his departure.
Who leaves in the middle of a major project? I don’t know what’s going on over there, butThe Last Guardianproducer Yoshifusa Hayamahas also jumped ship.
