We heard aboutEcolibriumback in September, though this free application for PlayStation Vita is only now available in North America. As the name suggests, this is all about putting together a balanced ecosystem that will allow alien creatures to thrive. There’s also a collection element thrown in for good measure, as well as photo taking.
When you read that out loud, yeah, it sounds rather silly. And surely the game will outstay its welcome before too long, but I’d be lying if I saidEcolibriumdoesn’t look like it’ll scratch a very particular itch of mine. I’m a total sucker for virtual ecosystems like this — there aren’t enough of them! — and “free” seems like a good way to get others (i.e., normal humans) interested.
