Please don’t abuse free-to-play, please don’t abuse free-to-play

I still can’t grasp the concept of Capcom making a free-to-play dungeon crawler in the same vein asDemon’s/Dark Souls, but here we are withDeep Down, which is currently in development for the PS4. Things seem to be going well, as new news has come to light as to what we can expect from the game.

In a recent post from theDeep Down‘s Facebook page, Capcom noted that they’re going all out to make the game a different experience every time. According to the post, “infinite variations” are possible, including minute details like ladders and traps. This is all sounding great, and I think we’re all collectively holding our fingers, hoping that the free-to-play scheme isn’t exploited into the ground.
