Taken down to focus on Star Wars Commander
Disney has pulled two mobileStar Warsgames —Tiny Death StarandStar Wars Assault Team— and in the case of the latter, developer Nimblebit wasn’t even given a heads up.
“We had no prior knowledge that the game would be removed and no longer even have a contact at Disney after the recent layoffs,” Ian Marsh toldGame Informer. “Suffice to say if you’re a developer looking to partner with Disney this might not be the partnership you’re looking for.”
Speaking toPocket Gamer, he added that it was “a significant source of revenue for us, so it stings that much more.” Marsh alsotweeted this, which made me laugh but then I felt bad.
