Adorable obliteration

Enter the Gungeonis a title I’ve been keeping an eye on. Any game that name checksBinding of IsaacandNuclear Throneis going to pique my interest, butGungeonhas enough of its own style to step out of the shadow of its inspirations and stand on its own. WhileIsaacis a stomach turning black comedy, andNuclear Thronealternates between absurdity and melancholy,Gungeonis just… goofy.

In a good way.

Gotta respect a game that knows what it’s about. The music fromDoseonedoesn’t hurt either. Jed should have a review forGungeonup sometime this week and we’ll see how it stacks up against its inspirations.
