Mobile gaming is King
Holy heck, people loveFallout. Bethesda releasedFallout Shelterfor iOS right after announcing it on Sunday —Chris says it’s pretty good— and it’s already knockedCandy Crush Sagaoff its consistent third place perch on the app store.
King’s candy has been making $2.55 million a day in 2015, soFallout Shelterhad likely made above or around that. It may not the consistent reign, maybeCandy Crush Sagawill be back in third next week, but it’s still an impressive showing for Bethesda.

“We’re very pleased. Fallout Shelter is doing amazingly well, with no real buildup,” Bethesda’s Pete Hines toldGamesBeat. “To take such a light approach to monetization compared to other free-to-play games — we felt like we wanted to err on the side of caution and make it very unobtrusive, verify it was fun first and foremost. So far so good.”
