Since Adventure Plates were added toFinal Fantasy XIVback in patch 6.1, players have been able to show off their personalities via these display elements. They include not only a portrait of your WoL, but also information about preferred actvities, online times, and your search info.
If you’re bored of the same old designs, you may get a myriad of Framer’s Kits to jazz up your Adventure Plate. These Framer’s Kits can be split into two categories – those which provide elements for the Adventure Plate itself, or those which provide different Portrait backgrounds.

I’m going to focus on how to get Framer’s Kits which come with multiple elements for your Adventure Plate. If you’re looking for new Portrait backgrounds, these can be obtained throughPvPor via Job quests.
Framer’s Kits obtained through achievements
There are a total of three Framer’s Kits which can only be purchased after completing certain achievements. These are definitely long-term goals, and once you’ve got the achievement, these Framer’s Kits can be purchased for 2 Achievement Certificates from Jonathas in Old Gridania (X:10.6, Y:6.2).
Framer’s Kits obtained through quests
There are a selection of Framer’s Kits which come as part of the reward for completing quests. These do not need to be purchased, and come with a variety of elements.
Framer’s Kits obtained through duties
If you’re into savage raiding and looking to show off your abilities through your Adventure Plate, there are five Framer’s Kits which are unlocked by completing high-end content. You don’t need to purchase these, as they unlock automatically upon completion of the duty.

Framer’s Kits obtained through Island Sanctuary
TheseIsland Sanctuaryexclusive Framer’s Kits can be purchased from the Horrendous Hoarder on your own Unnamed Island. They cost 3,000Seafarer’s Cowrieseach, and come with a wide variety of elements to use on your Adventure Plate.
Framer’s Kits obtained with Bicolor Gemstones
Once you’ve completed yourShared FATEsinDawntrail, you’ll gain access to the two city hubGemstone Tradersin Solution Nine and Tuliyollal. Through these, there are four Framer’s Kits to get and these cost 600 Bicolor Gemstones each.

Every Allied Society inFinal Fantasy XIVhas a Framer’s Kit up for grabs once you reach a certain rank with that Society. These cost 6 of the respective Societies currency:
Framer’s Kits from other sources
There are two Framer’s Kits which can be obtained through downloading the Companion App. If you opt for the free version, you will be rewarded with some Moogle elements for your Adventure Plate. If you choose to pay for the Companion App’s Premium Service, you’ll get some Cactuar elements.
