There’s nothing better as a fan of any game than being able to display that love in official merch, and there is a lot ofFinal Fantasy XIVmerch out there fit for purpose. On February 3, more merch is set to arrive in the shape of an official collab with Australian clothing company BlackMilk.

Set your alarms for 4 p.m. EST on February 3. Do it now, before you forget, because you won’t want to miss this collab.

BlackMilk is well known for its collab collections with household names. They’ve got collections filled with designs inspired by the likes of Sailor Moon, Pokémon, Hello Kitty, and even Zelda. NowFFXIVis getting its own collection, and it all looks absolutely stunning.

What I love about this collection is that it actually lookswearable. Don’t get me wrong, everything is wearable if you’ve got the guts and confidence to pull it off, but a lot ofFFXIVreleases outside of basic t-shirts do lend themselves more to special occasions and cosplay purposes. The BlackMilk collection, on the other hand, is filled with frankly stunning designs that are more socially acceptable for everyday wear.

Take, for instance, that black lace maxi dress.

At first glance, it looks like simple lace and you might actually wonder where this fits in with theFFXIVtheme. However, if you look closer, that lace design is actually made up of individual Job icons, including the latest additions of Pictomancer and Viper, and even Blue Mage. Whatever job you play, it’s represented in the subtle yet very clever design of this dress.

The virtual lookbook for the entire collection will go live on the BlackMilk website at 9 a.m. EST on January 29, giving those interested a chance to glimpse the full collection, which includes the following items that have already been shared:

Following the release of the lookbook, there will also be a collection preview at 5 p.m. EST on January 30, ahead of theofficial launch at 4 p.m. EST on February 3.

Although prices haven’t been revealed, a brief exploration of other BlackMilk collab collections offers a good indication of potential costs. For instance, a similar maxi dress available as part of the Lord of the Rings x BlackMilk collab costs $103 USD, so theFFXIVdress may be priced similarly.
