Classic example of how one game in a successful series has overwhelming fan appreciation, yet other games still resonate stronger with some gamers. This week we tackle a series far larger, far more convoluted, and far more debated. To keep it simple and easy, this debate will not include anyTactics, MMORPG,Crystal Chronicles, spinoffs, etc releases from the series. That means fans ofFFX-2should not vote forFFXin its place. The series can still be a bit confusing for some, such asFinal Fantasy IVbeing released asFinal Fantasy IIoutside of Japan, as well asFFVIgetting released overseas asFFIII. For all games in this debate, we are using theoriginal Japanese release chronology. Lastly, yes, remakes of originals count. If theFinal Fantasy IIIDS remake was your favorite, then you can still vote forFFIII.
