Can’t get enough of the boy
For the most part, this week saw little change in the premier spots of the UK video game charts. Sony’s smash-hitGod of War, as we all knew it would, continues to hold a lock on the number one slot, followed by Nintendo’sDonkey Country Country: Tropical Freezeat number two and the seemingly unshakeableFar Cry 5at number three.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2continues to enjoy a resurrection in the wake of big-screen blockbusterAvengers: Infinity War, while Ubisoft’s Egyptian adventureAssassin’s Creed Originsalso found its way back into the big leagues.

Activision’s sci-fi epicDestiny 2has also found itself back in the Top Ten for the first time in a long time. The space-shooter has obviously been scooped back off the shelves by returning fans keen to check out recent expansionWarmind. Take-Two’sGrand Theft Auto V, already bored of spending one week outside the Top Ten, returned at number nine.
Elsewhere in the charts, open-world bloodbathConan Exilesdebuted at number 13, and re-entries were made byForza Horizon 3,Horizon: Zero Dawnand a huge return for Sony’sShadow of the Colossusremake, which leapt from number 38 to number 15.
