It’s easy to forget January 2021

In a bid to show us just how active the popular Nintendo platform was this year, a community member crafted an infographic for the Switch in 2021.

Created by ieatdragonz, this comprehensive behemoth of an infographic showcases all of the major releases this year for the Switch, dating back to January. You know, that month that’s super easy to forget! Like that one year (2018)Dragon Ball FighterZcame out in January.

It’s a trip down memory lane, and it’s even color-coded by first-party, Switch exclusive, version exclusive, and console exclusive to get a better look at how many unique experiences the system had.

A few highlights? I totally forgot thatMario 3D World + Bowser’s Furycame out in February. It felt like I just reviewed it! Nintendo could be working onMario 3D World 2by now.

A lot of other big “Switch in 2021” moments jump out too, likeMonster Hunter Risein March, whichI do remember(because it’s not January!), because everyone has been talking about it all year. Then there’sPokemon Snapin late April, which rang in the middle of the year before E3, as well asthe surprise dual release ofFamicom Detective Club.

In all, it’s been a fun year. Of course,Metroid Dreadhad to take the top spot for 2021.
