Style has become an endgame of sorts forPokemonplayers, ever since the past few generations have added new clothing options. For some, a kimono is going to be your outfit of choice. For everyone else, here’s how to swap out of it once theTeal MaskDLC forces you to wear one for story-related reasons.

How to get the kimono in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet – Teal Mask

As you enter the Kitakami region, you’ll be tasked with your first quest: locating Mossui Town. From here, you’ll embark upon a series of short quests, mostly meant to acclimate you to Kitakami’s landscapes, as well as its new cast of characters.

After completing several short photo-based quests, the NPC Kieran will ask you to attend the Festival of Masks. Head over to their house and their grandparents will gift you a free Teal Mask Kimono,as well as a Teal Style Card, which unlocks extra DLC clothingat stores across the game.

How to change out of your kimono in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

The left d-padwill bring up your clothing menu inScarlet & Violet, which you can use to change out of the kimono and back into your regular duds.You can do this directly after acquiring the kimono at Kieran’s house.

How to change back into the kimono in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

If you want the kimono look back, just go back to your outfit closet (left d-pad) and find the “Festival Jinbei” clothing item under the “clothes” heading. Select it and away you go!
