The Northern Expedition event is now live inFisch, and you can access a new region in the form of the Northern Summit Island.
This new region is one of the many additions that are part of the recent update. Based on my understanding, reaching the new region is pretty easy even if you’re a beginner, and there’s a cool mechanic involved as well. To reach the new location, however, there are certain prerequisites.
How to get to the Northern Summit Island in Fisch
Reaching the new location requires you to have a boat, so you’ll need to reach at least Level 5 and have the credits to get a boat. The closest spot to the portal is Sunstone Island, and you’ll need to travel straight after taking a right turn.
It’s pretty easy to follow since a pointer will direct you to where the portal is located. Just approach it and go through the gate. Doing so will take you to a completely new area, where the only location available is the Northern Summit. The new location is quite different in terms of design aesthetics, with most of the land being covered by snow.

There are plenty of ladders you’ll find on this map, which will allow you to traverse the cliffs with ease. There are different Oxygen tanks you’re able to get in this region, and they will allow you to reach the other areas of the Northern Expedition Island.
A new location also means new fish, and there are 36 new varieties to find based on the official patch notes. We will have a detailed guide out when we have more ideas about how to find them and complete the new bestiaries.
