Aetheryte Tickets are a really useful item which can be used to teleport anywhere you like inFinal Fantasy XIVwithout the usual cost ofGil. Sadly, these often go overlooked, but at the start of a new expansion, it would be handy to have some in your pocket.
It’s weird that this item often gets forgotten by players, but I’m here to remind you that they exist and you should probably get some.
Get Aetheryte Tickets in exchange for Hunt Seals
The easiest way to purchase Aetheryte Tickets is through exchanging Allied Seals with your chosenGrand Company’s Billmaster. Each Aetheryte Ticket costs 5Allied Seals, which can be gained through taking part in The Hunt or Blue Mage activities.
Billmasters can be found in the following locations inside of your chosen Grand Company’s headquarters:
If you have been taking part in Hunts withinHeavenswardRegions and have stocked up on Centurio Seals, these can also be exchanged for Aetheryte Tickets by visiting Ardolain in Foundation (X:13.1, Y:11.9). Again, Aetheryte Tickets cost 5 Centurio Seals each.
Exchange Gold Chocobo Feathers for Aetheryte Tickets
The next way to get Aetheryte Tickets is slightly more complicated. If you’ve ever taken part in any of the following, you’ll have stocked up some Gold Chocobo Feathers:
If you’ve got a stock of Gold Chocobo Feathers, you can use these to get Aetheryte Tickets. Each Gold Chocobo Feather will get you 10 Aetheryte Tickets, and this can be done by visiting one of the Calamity Salvagers in the following locations:
Earn Aetheryte Tickets through quests
There are a total of two quests inFinal Fantasy XIVwhich provide you with Aetheryte Tickets as a reward. One of them is the level 73 MSQ quest “The Lawless Ones”, which can be picked up from Wyd Lad in Il Mheg (X:19.4, Y:4.6). This quest rewards 3 Aetheryte Tickets.
The other is a level 50 side quest called “Feast of Famine” which I don’t recommend you pick up unless you love Fishing inFFXIV. If you want to pick it up, you’ll need to talk to Wawalago at the Fisherman’s Guild in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks. If you manage to complete this quest (it’s the only side quest in the entire game I haven’t done), then you’ll get 99 Aetheryte Tickets as a reward.
