Sage’s Will is a new upgrade item, similar to how you can add hearts and stamina
I hope you like juggling items, becauseTears of the Kingdombaaaaasically takes everything from its predecessor and adds more. Here’s what the Sage’s Will item does, and where to find it.

Where do you find Sage’s Will?
Sage’s Will items are found in the sky regions ofTears of the Kingdom. Typically they’re rewards for micro-puzzles and can be found scattered throughout the aerial regions of the game. For instance, you may get one as a rewardfor fighting Flux Constructs: minibosses that are in the sky islands.
You’ll need four of them before they do anything.
What does the Sage’s Will item do?
Acquiring four of them and interacting with a Goddess Statue (again, just like how you’d upgrade your health and stamina meters), you’ll add attack power to your companion’s statlines.
Every time you defeat a temple, you’ll gain an avatar of a Champion/Sage. That avatar follows you aroundnearly everywherein the game, to provide assistance through triggered abilities, as well as passive combat. Gathering more Sage’s Will makes them more effective fighters, which is useful for the vast majority of major bossfights in the game. While they’re not needed to clear the story, they’re helpful!
