You can increase Coziness inLightyear Frontierby crafting decorations for your homestead. Doing so will add to a tiered Coziness meter that grants various boons based on just how damn comfy your space farmer is. And we can get pretty comfy on this here space farm.
How to craft decorations and your increase Coziness rating inLighyear Frontier
Your first step to increase the Coziness of your homestead inLightyear Frontieris to build, well, ahomestead. Open the crafting menu and navigate to the ‘Constructs – Homesteads’ tab (the icon is of a house). The earliest homes you may build are either a tent or a cabin, so be sure to drop one down on your favorite location on the map.
Homesteads do more than merely give you a place to sleep; your home away from home grants bonuses based on its comfiness rating. To increase comfort levels, go back to the crafting menu and look up ‘Decorations’ you can build. Items such as tables, chairs, signs, and walls add to the Coziness rating. So too can torches, campfires, and items like a washbasin or clothesline.
Homesteads have an area of influence, indicated by a border made of broken, white lines. Decorations must be placed within the border to up the Coziness. The homesteads affected will be linked to the decoration via a transparent, blue line. Placing a decoration adds to a circle meter showing just how comfy your home is. You get an additional boon as you fill up each meter.

Coziness effects offer a small, passive boon that helps you out in some way. Here are the ones I found so far:
Each homestead offers a limited amount of boons based on their own tier. The Small Tent, for example, awards one effect, while the Small Cabin offers two. Larger homesteads award in more effects.

Like with most other blueprints, you’re able to get more decorations inLightyear Frontierby finding and gathering resources. Blueprints are awarded as you chop trees orharvest resources like Aluminum. Decoration blueprintscan also be purchased from the Merchant, whom you can unlock after clearing your first corrupted biome.
