Seriously though, Destructoid never reviewedOffworld Trading Companyso here’s a mini-review. Designed by the lead designer ofSid Meier’s Civilization IV,Offworld Trading Companyis an economic-based RTS with no direct combat outside of corporate sabotage. You compete over resources and buy/sell items on an ever-changing stock market with the goal of eventually buying out all of your competition. It’s one of the best RTS games I’ve ever played because it’s incredibly kinetic and I’m a corporate whore so being able to manipulate the stock market pleases me in ways I’d rather not get into.
