This March, Nintendo will be introducing the first in its series of GameCube remakes for the Wii, under their “New Play Control!” branding. First up will be New Play Control! versions of bothMario Power TennisandPikmin, both sporting Wii-specific controls for the re-release.
It doesn’t look like it’s going to stop there, either — if an updated ESRB listing is any indication,Pikmin 2may be getting the “New Play Control!” treatment as well.Siliconera notedthe updated listing for the title, which adds Wii to the consoles the game is available on.
Nintendo hasn’t announced the releaes ofPikmin 2for the Wii for either North America or Japan, so you’ll have to take this one with a grain of salt. Besides, we haven’t even gottenNew Play Control! Pikminyet … relax, OK? Let’s hope this isn’t the closest we’ll get to seeing Pikmin on the Wii, though. The things we’d do for a newPikmintitle are certainly NSFW.
