Back inJuly, Viz Media promised to localizeProfessor Layton and the Eternal Divafor American shores. Well by golly, it kept its word! The company just sent out a press release to announce that theLaytonmovie will arrive on November 8 for the ridiculously sensible price $19.97 US / $19.98 CAN. Being an anime release and all, I was expecting a $30 price tag, but Viz went ahead and totally pulled an Amazon!
The movie promises to uphold the spirit of the games with puzzles that appearright thereduring the story. You are then given a moment to reach a solution before Layton turns around and says, “Wrong, dumbass! Here’s therightanswer!” You can bet I’ll be watching with a pad and pencil ever at the ready!
