From October 28-30 (this weekend) the MCM Expo in London will be taking place. Held twice a year at the Excel centre in the Docklands, this event is usually a huge mass of cosplayers, anime and some content from games.
However, as the convention has gained popularity over the years, the focus on games has increased. This year there are some really fun games being shown, so if you missed out on Eurogamer Expo or if you just fancy having a nerdy day out then make sure you get yourself along to MCM Expo.

The games that will be there this year include:
There will be lots of others in addition to the games above, including some indie developers too! So you may spend a good day playing some exciting new releases, with the possible added benefit of cosplaying eye-candy — no guarantees though…
Warning! This event is rather popular so in order to avoid queuing (meaning: missing out on some swag and all the free hugs you just know you want) make sure you rock up before 11am to buy your day tickets. Or you can buy early entry tickets in advance from theMCM website. Note: the standard entry tickets cannot be purchased in advance.

So hey, if you’re tempted but afraid to venture into the grand hall of nerdiness by yourself, then have no fear! Dtoiders are going too. I will be attending on Saturday and I know there has been interest in theforums. Make yourself known and we can arrange a meeting plan. I also strongly propose beer (or another form of satisfying drink) after as it is a pretty mental day.

If you live in Europe and are not part of theemailer, then why not? We’re nice people, honest…
So yeah… Anime and Beer? (Also, cocks.) Sounds like a good weekend. See you there!!
