Keiji Inafune is at Anime Expo, which starts today in LA, to make a “special announcement,” that “may interest Mega Man fans.” The Mega Man co-creatorleft Capcomand formed Comcept, which recently has worked on twoMega Manstyle games,Mighty No. 9andAzure Striker Gunvolt.
While Inafune is working on newly announcedReCorefor Xbox One (with Armature Studios), he and Comcept have another surprise in the form ofRed Ash: The Indelible Legend, a collaboration with animation house Studio 4°C (Catherine).
The teaser uses the word “legend” a lot andMega Man Legendsis calledRockman Dash(Red Ash?) in Japan, hence speculation it is aLegends-like. Studio 4°C’s involvement is interesting, though, as the animation house has worked on games, tv shows, and films. We’ll hear more about this surprise soon enough.
