The first look atStar Was Battlefront IIwas supposed to debuton April 15, but you know how these things go. A trailer with “game engine footage,” viewable above, has slipped out ahead of schedule.
Battlefront IIwill feature “multiplayer battles across all eras” and a story campaign that seems to take place right afterReturn of the Jedi(“Avenge our Emperor!”). As far as hero and villain characters go, consider familiar faces like Darth Maul, Yoda, Rey, and Kylo Ren locked in for this sequel.
There’s also a closing mention of pre-orders including “Star Wars: The Last JediHeroes.”
