Ni No Kuni 2?

We saw Level-5 pop up on that “supported developer” list when the Nintendo Switch was announced, butwhat levelof support will we see? Come to find out, nothing at launch.

Speaking to Vandal.net, Level-5’s CEO Akihiro Hino noted, “We plan to make games for Nintendo Switch, but I think it’s very important to find out the best way to get the most out of the console. For that reason, we won’t have any titles at launch, but we’ll work with it as soon as we figure out how to take advantage of it.” So…Ni No Kuni 2? Given that it doesn’t have a firm release date yet, that could be their first project.

Speaking of, they also got some tidbits onthatsequel, with Hino saying that there will be “many new features,” given the move from PS3 to PS4, including a kingdom creation tool. So…did Hino basically just confirm that they’re incorporating elements of their belovedDark Cloudinto the mix? That’s the best news I’ve heard all year from them.
