Silent Hill meets Inside?
Bandai Namco has properly revealedLittle Nightmares, a new adventure title that has you playing as a raincoat–wearing little girl named Six trying to escape an underwater vessel filled with corrupted souls. I love how that description went from cute to scary real quick, which seems to be the tone of the game as well.
Little Nightmaresreminds me a bit of Tim Burton films, a little bit ofSilent Hill, a smidgen ofInside, and a hint ofUnravel. Developer Tarsier Studios has worked on downloadable content for theLittleBigPlanetseries, as well as the PlayStation 4 port ofTearaway Unfolded, so it certainly has some platforming experience under its belt. I hope that translates well to its own game whenLittle Nightmareslaunches next spring for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
