The list of X-Men coming to Marvel Rivals keeps getting longer
News about the incoming wave of X-Men characters is coming to us fromXOX_LEAK, a prominentMarvel Rivalsdataminer who’s been dropping credible leak after credible leak for months. In a series of posts on their X (formally known as Twitter) account, XOX_LEAK claimed that twelve X-Men and X-Men-affiliated characters will bleed intoMarvel Rivalsin the coming months.

Thanks to the work by XOX_LEAK and other Marvel Rivals leakers, we have a clear picture of how each upcoming X-Men character works in-game, from their roles to some of their abilities. Here’s a breakdown of all the X-Men characters coming toMarvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals X-Men leaks hint at a mutant-themed Season
Not all the leaked characters coming toMarvel Rivalsare X-Men. It’s beenall but confirmed that The Thingand the Human Torch will debut before Season 1 closes in April, and earlier leaks confirmed we’ll be getting Blade, Ultron, M.O.D.O.k. and Hit Monkey. Still, other evidence makes it clear as day that the X-Men will dominateMarvel Rivals‘ future.
The most significant nod comes fromleaked map data naming the mutant sovereign nation Krakoa. For those not in the know, Krakoa is the mutant sovereign nation that defined the era ofX-Mencomics from 2019 to 2024. Krakoa, always at the heart of plots designed to either expand its influence or eradicate it, would be the perfect backdrop for an X-Men season.

The future ofMarvel Rivalsis still uncertain, but I, for one, plan to welcome our new mutant overlords. I still remember the painful years when Marvel’s stance on the X-Men boiled down to “Mutants, what mutants? Oh, you mean the Inhumans?” Knowing that the Children of the Atom are on track to be the most represented superhero team inMarvel Rivalsthrills my comic-eating heart.
