Marvel’s Avengers will bring a new hero to next week’s War Table stream

Any guesses on the next post-launch character?

I’m not wild aboutMarvel’s Avengers– and I may never be – but after seeing thatlengthy data-mined list of possible charactersbeyond the core launch-day cast, I’m intrigued for sure. A little hopeful, even.

The next War Table stream is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Pacific onTuesday, September 1, and fans are expecting a lot given its proximity to launch.According to Square Enix, this latestAvengersshowing will feature “numerous” reveals including “an in-depth look at the first post-launch story season for the Avengers Initiative” (Hey Clint!) and “the unveiling of an additional post-launch playable hero.”

“Minds will be blown and wishes granted as some of the game’s extensive slate of additional heroes, villains, missions, regions, and gameplay modes are unveiled,” the publisher added.
