Rockstar has never been known for their PC ports in the past. To this day, I still can’t getGTA IVto play nice with my machine. Theyopted out of a port forRed Dead Redemption, and I never got around toL.A. Noireon PC, so I don’t know if their porting ever improved. It looks like Rockstar is making an effort though, as today they announced the PC specification requirements forMax Payne 3. If you’re using a powerhouse, it looks like you’ll be playing in style.

Max Payne 3will support a huge range of components and specs. It requires a respectable minimum of an Intel Dual Core 2.4 GHZ, 2 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA 8600 (or Radeon HD 3400), and 35 GB of hard drive space. Yes, 35 Gigabytes. Now, if you have a monstrosity running an i7 6 Core x 3.06 GHZ, 16 GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 680 (or Radeon HD 7970) that supports DirectX11, you can probably fly to the Moon or something with that. Also,Max Payne 3will lookcrazygood for you.
