Off to Aretuza
We’ve already seen a hint of where the third season ofThe Witcheris headed. Alongside a production still shared a few weeks ago, Netflix alsoput out a plot summaryforThe WitcherSeason 3. It sounds like Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri are headed to Aretuza.
Ciri’s powers, and her learning to control them, is still front-and-center. But with some characters like Mistle getting involved, it seems like a lot of book material is in play.

Henry Cavill, who portrays Geralt in the Netflix series, hassaid he’d like Season 3 to be loyal to the books. We’ll see how that pans out as production continues.
Meanwhile, on the gaming side ofThe Witcheruniverse, CD Projekt Red is currently working onthe next installment in the saga. It’ll be built on Unreal Engine 5. Those hoping for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions ofThe Witcher 3: Wild Huntwill bewaiting a little while longer, though. The next-gen versions have been indefinitely delayed, as CD Projekt brings development in-house.
