The sixth age never looked so right
The latest issue ofGame Informeris making its way out and thoughthe cover story has exciting news for RPG fans, it’s the feature on Harebrained Scheme’s upcomingShadowrun Returnsthat has this tabletop player’s heart skipping beats.
In a post over on Harebrained’s site, they’ve released most of the images you would find within the pages of the magazine. These are concepts shots using in-game elements, but are not in-game graphics as the engine is still being designed and implemented. Still, you’re able to get a good sense of the progress they’ve made on the design end and the combination of 2D backgrounds and 3D objects is working for me.
Along with a few environment shots come a pair of character renders as well. Fans of the Super Nintendo game based onShadowrunwill recognize the protagonist of that game, Jake Armitage, who will appear inShadowrun Returnsas an important NPC.
