On the cusp of greatness
If you liked Mixer’sHypeZone conceptbutPlayerUnknown’s Battlegroundsisn’t exactly your multiplayer game of choice, the streaming platform has now applied the same idea toFortnite Battle Royale.
It’s a single streamthat roams from match to matchto capture the “most intense moments.” So if you like seeing people sweat it out in the endgame without the preceding buildup, you’re golden.
I think HypeZone is a fun novelty and the kind of experimentation I’d like to see more of in streaming, but it lacks lasting appeal — at least for me. That said, the name is pure cheesy goodness.
