Aiding you in that decision is today’s launch trailer for3C3C1D119440927(amazingly, that’s the name of the DLC; bless you Yoko Taro). The video recaps the new costumes and coliseums, including a fourth-wall-breaking literal “boss” fight. I enjoyAutomata‘s combat enough that something like this could be worth getting even at that price, but I really should wait until I’m further into the game.
Even if you’re thinking of sitting this one out, stick around for the final few seconds of the trailer. I wouldn’t want you to miss seeing Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda kick the shit out of 2B.
