Surely, everyone saw this coming: Nintendo has revelaed thatWii Sports Resortis a ridiculously huge success.
The publisher has revealed that since its June 26 launch, over 1 million copies of the game have been sold in the United States. Oh, and in Japan and Europe each, more than 1 million copies ofWii Sports Resorthave been sold as well. This shouldn’t be too surprising, as the game ships with the exciting new Wii MotionPlus peripheral that everyone just has to have. Oh, and the words “Wii Sports” are so popular that appending them to pretty much anything would result in a sales explosion (i.e.Wii Sports Colonoscopyis trademark just waiting to happen).
