Urge to double dip… rising

The masterful metroidvania gameOri and the Blind Forestwill be on Nintendo Switch before we know it. In the last week before launch, Moon Studios has put out a substantial Switch demo. It’s a chance to see how well the port runs–in a word: beautifully–and remind yourself that “Damn,Oriis amazing.”

It’s wild seeing anofficial Xbox articletalk about a Nintendo Switch title, and I’m thankfulOri and the Blind Forestis one of the very few Microsoft Studios games to make it onto the system. It feels right.

If you manage to break away fromThe Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening(or whatever else you dig into this weekend), by all means, check out the demo. LikeHollow Knightbefore it, this deserves a warm reception– not just due to the game itself, but because of the care that went into this port.
