Controllers might still go dead, but PDP claims to be able to get you back in the game in under a minute. It’s a single streamthat roams from match to matchto capture the “most intense moments.” So if you like seeing people sweat it out in the endgame without the preceding buildup, you’re golden. I think HypeZone is a fun novelty and the kind of experimentation I’d like to see more of in streaming, but it lacks lasting appeal — at least for me....

Olympic-standard tipster, BlindsideDork, has unsurprisingly struck again, this time putting us onto 5 new screenshots and a title logo from theonly-dated-yesterdayMetroid Prime 3: Corruption. Sourced fromNGCFrance, they depict Samus battling through the traditional array of desolate industrial landscapes, some unidentified members of the additional cast, and at one point what appears to be Samus flitting through the sky using the grappling beam while wearing a black suit. What this new armour variation might be is anyone’s guess at the moment, but obviously given the combination ofits colour and the swinging action in the shot, Retro Studios are currently being searched for any and all My Chemical Romance albums which may be on the premises....

Well, mostly upcoming games In previous years, Nintendo has held a “Play Nintendo” event to showcase upcoming games in a public setting. In addition to being like an E3 that most people can actually visit, the kiosks are full of Nintendo charm and glee while also offering demos for upcoming games. I’m not sure if that is really needed (the internet is great for downloading things!), but maybe some people aren’t sold on a console; an event like this will give them the chance to experience that device to its fullest potential....

Despite the cynicism growing around OUYA, theAndroid console’s Kickstartercontinues to raise money from supportive and hopeful gamers. The system recently passed the $5 million mark, placing it well ahead of its comparatively humble $950,000 goal. At the time of writing, the full total stands at$5,046,170, with 21 days still left to go on the countdown. With so much money and excited hype, the pressure’s really on to deliver. I certainly hope it does so, even if the system becomes just a cool little Android hub and doesn’t really “upend” anything....

You never knew if you were going to get a great hamfest or something that took itself far too seriously, and now it’s completely out of the equation.
