Indeed, the king of free game giveaways has scored yet another exclusivity deal, following a relatively long period of not going after them. The last high-profile Epic exclusive wasDead Island 2, discounting the variety of Ubisoft titles that are specifically avoiding Steam, but this time, it makes sense that it’s happening....

Go the distance Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2presents players with a variety of unique challenges, each requiring different strategies to complete. While some challenges are relatively easy, such as achieving a headshot or melee kill, others can prove to be quite difficult, such as the longshot kills. This is particularly a challenging task because each weapon has a specific distance that must be maintained in order for the kill to count as a “long shot”....

‘Expert Missions’ I haven’t been all that jazzed aboutDragon Ball Xenoverse 2, but a few updates from Bandai Namco have changed my tune a lil’ bit. Majin Vegeta is confirmed, but the “Expert Mission” mode is what I’m really interested in. It allows up to six players to battle “giant NPC bosses,” and if done right, can really showcase the absurdity ofDragon Ballin general. Finally, an open beta has been confirmed, featuring the new hub zone Conton City (which is allegedly seven times the size of the original hub)....

Even more threats await inSunbreak A monster hunter’s work is never over, it seems. Capcom showed off a few of the monsters arriving in this week’s free Title Update 1 forMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, and they’re some nasty ones. The free title update arrives on August 10 for Nintendo Switch and PC, bringing more giant monsters into the fold. From massive wings and whip-like tails to an apparent smoldering magma beast, they all look terrifying inthis new trailer....

More gamers are going to get the chance to check it out starting January 21, since that’s when the open beta starts. Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will be coming back online this week. When this week? Sony didn’t specify.
