The last official word on when Microsoft will support Kinect for Windows came from CEO Steve Ballmer at CES 2011when he said“in the right time.” While it’s not that time quite yet, recent rumors suggest it may not be far off. WinRumors reports via unnamed sources that Microsoft is readying driver support and an SDK “in the coming months and will allow third-party developers to create titles that utilize the Kinect sensor when plugged into a PC....

Sony’s E3 site has gone live, and it reveals … not very much of anything at all. That said, we can be reasonably sure that at least nine games will be shown during the event, due to the spaces in the top right corner. While not allowing you to manipulate the camera, you’ll be able to get some stereoscopic 3D going for all of the story bits. I’m not sure if playing the entire game with the Labo VR kit will seamlessly transition the cutscenes to 3D, but a new theater option will render every scene with the effect....

Another FMV mystery Her Storyturned a lot of heads and won a glut of awards/nominations when it quietly debuted in 2015. The ’90s style FMV game required players to solve the mystery of a missing man, using only the police interview tapes of his wife, Hannah. By defining correct context, noting recurring information, and with a little lateral thinking, the player can reveal the truth behind the disappearance. Developer Sam Barlow has revealed a follow-up of sorts to his smash indie hit....

I expect many pies to the face Mortal Kombat 11has seen some great additions to its roster through the season pass, but the one I’ve most been looking forward too has yet to join the cast.
