I love a good game tattoo (and by good, I do not meanthis), but for me ink has to be subtle and clean or it just doesn’t appeal to me.Masatomo Ueda’sPatapontattoo fits the bill on both counts, showing a little army of Hatipon, Yaripon, and Yumipon sieging an attack on this chest. You can read a bit more about it on his blog if you like.

I’ve honestly never considered a gaming tattoo, despite the fact that gaming has been a part of my life for over twenty years. I suppose I am trying to avoid the inevitable moment where you look in the mirror and age 40 and say “Why did I do that?” On the other hand, I suspect I’ll be pulling out the NES periodically for the rest of my life … so maybe I shouldn’t totally toss the idea of a tattoo just yet.
