Last month, SCEE boss David Reevesconfirmedto Gamesindustry.biz that the PlayStation 3 was on schedule to launch in March of 2007. On hearing the news, the Europeans let out a continent-wide ‘meh’ (except in France, where it is reported that they let out a‘le meh’) and promptly went back to enjoying their socialized health care and old world culture.
Gamesindustry.biz, who are always on the lookout for ways to make life in the PAL territories more difficult (see our expose next week that pins the Holocaust on them), has apparentlyspoken with TBWA, the ad agency behind all of thosebizarre,psuedo-hipads that Sony keeps pumping out, and TBWA seems to believe the March launch simply can not happen.

From the article:
Speaking toGI.biz, a spokesperson for advertising agency TBWA said the marketing campaign for the console “launches towards the end of March” – which would suggest that an early March date is unlikely.
Sorry to break the news like this Europe, but it looks like you’ll have to wait a bit longer for the overly expensive new toy. Then again, at this point, you guys are kinda used to being screwed by game companies, so consider this just another friendly reminder that the world loves America more.

(Editor’s Note: Europe, I’m so sorry, baby. Theymakeme type this stuff. I’ve loved you all along. Ever since that night under the Champs Elysee, I can’t stop thinking about you! Why won’t you return my calls? — Eternally yours, Nexypoo)
