Yeah, we know this is an incremental update (.01, baby!), so we shouldn’t expect much from PlayStation Portable software update v4.01. But it goes live in the next few hours, and we figured that we should let you know so you don’t start yelling “OMG! What duz it dooz?”

Not sure what kind of video content playback has been improved, but if you’re not experiencing problems, we wouldn’t worry too much about it. As it stands, the installation is going to be the most exciting part of this update.
