It’s time once again for your bi-weekly fix of peaceful video game landscapes. That’s right, Digital Tourist is back, and this time we’re walking like an Egyptian inAssassin’s Creed Origins.
AC Originshas beauty enough to impress any long gone pharaoh. From the bustling city of Alexandria, to the Nile River, to the Pyramids of Giza; We’ll be hitting them all with the help of our handy, if a bit too vocal, tour guide Cleopatra.
If you’re new to Digital Tourist, each episode we’ll be showcasing the beautiful worlds that game developers have crafted in painstaking polygonal detail. No questing; no combat (usually); no UI. Just a (mostly) peaceful walk, stroll, glide, trot, or trek across some of the greatest places to never exist.
Now, this is usually the part where I give you the lowdown on what mods we’ve dug up to make our game look even better than normal, but honestly,Originsis beautiful all on its own. The only additions up our sleeves are a mod toturn off the HUDto give you a better view and theRebirth reshade. Other than that, it is just the base game rendered in breathtaking 4k.
