Cold Darkness Awakened
Rise of the Tomb Raider‘s final piece of downloadable content,Cold Darkness Awakened, is infecting Xbox One and PC next Tuesday, March 29, Square Enix just announced.
The story takes place in Siberia, where a mysterious affliction emanating from a decommissioned weapons research facility begins transforming men into mindless killers. Naturally, it’s kill or be killed for Lara, who must discover a way to cure the sickness before it spirals out of control.
In addition to new story bits, the add-on content includes a melee-resistant Ushanka outfit and a fancy new shotgun, which sounds like appropriate gear for killing things that basically sound like zombies.
Cold Darkness Awakenedis included along withEndurance ModeandBaba Yaga: Temple of the Witch, amongst other ancillary things, inRise of the Tomb Raider‘s $30 season pass.
Rise of the Tomb Raideris expected to release for PlayStation 4 this holiday season.
