CVG has just confirmed from “trusted sources” that Rockstar, once again, will not attend E3 in any official capacity. Essentially, this means that their executives or developers will not be attending the upcoming show, nor will they officially demo anything on the floor.
For those who are thinking “what a missed opportunity,” just know that it’s customary for Rockstar to not attendE3. Instead, they opt to basically havetheir ownpersonal E3/media circus at their leisure, and guess what? It works.
Of course, this doesn’t preclude possible announcements/reveals, such as some actualAgentgameplay at Sony’s press conference. Well, either way, in one fell swoop, my hopes and dreams of a surprise, pageantry-filled playable build ofBully 2were dashed.
