S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2’s development has been anything but predictable

It was inevitable that the Ukranian studio would be affected by the ongoing conflict, as it was based in Kyiv. When the invasion began, development was paused as the studio relocated to Prague and employees fled the conflict zone. Some decided to stay and fight alongside theArmed Forces of Ukraine.

The studio has also found itself subject tocyberattacks originating in Russia, andS.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2‘s site was banned from the countryafter it ceased operations there. Despite the setbacks, the studio has continued to condemn the Russian invasion while embracing its Ukranian roots.

On this Independence Day, we have a tremendous possibility to demonstrate our game to the world and move forward in its development. And we don’t forget that this chance is granted by defenders of our homeland, its freedom, and its borders.
