Just announce it already
For whatever reason, Sega has left its European fans twisting in the wind, wondering if they’ll ever see localizations of titles like7th Dragon III Code: VFDoranything made by Atlus.
The lack of news regarding these titles, which Sega has already announced for North America, is such a cause for concern that Sega Europe community manager Dan Sheridan seems to be fielding questions regarding different titles on a weekly basis via the publisher’sweekly YouTube show.
This week it’s rhythm gameHatsune Miku: Project Diva Xin the spotlight:
“We’ve heard feedback fromMikufans since the announcement in America and we are looking into how we can bringHatsune Miku: Project Diva Xto Europe,” said Sheridan. “Stay tuned for updates.”
Meanwhile in Australia, which, along with New Zealand, tends to get games around the same time as Europe,Project Diva Xhas beenratedby the country’s classifications board. With Sega Europe listed as the publisher, this seems to suggest there are indeed plans to release the game across the PAL region.
Currently, however, the company has only confirmed plans to release the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita title in Japan and North America, where the game is due to be released this August.
It should be noted: the PlayStation Vita version ofProject Diva Xhas been available in Japan since March, is fairly import-friendly, and PlayStation titles are (almost without exception) region free.
